If you're tipping us about a public-record moment

kino.ie writes about public-figure conduct anchored in public-record material — recorded streams, broadcast footage, captured public posts, court and regulator filings. If you've spotted a moment that meets our receipts standard and think it should be on a future page, send it to tips@kino.ie.

What's useful in a tip:

• The full URL of the original public material.
• The exact timestamp if it's a long video or stream.
• An archive.org snapshot URL if you've already captured one.
• The named subject(s) and any context that makes the moment legible.

What's not useful:

• DM screenshots from third parties — we can't authenticate these and they don't pass the standard.
• "Someone told me" claims about subjects' private behaviour.
• Material involving minors. Don't send it; we won't use it.

We don't acknowledge every tip individually. If a tip leads to material on the site, the tip-line address will receive a brief acknowledgement when the page goes live.

If you're a subject (or potential subject)

If you think you've been written about on this site and want to engage with us about it, the right route is the takedown procedure on the about page. The summary: email takedown@kino.ie with the URL and the disputed claim, and we respond within 72 hours.

If you think you might be a future subject of this site and want to flag preferences in advance — for example, you'd prefer specific contested matters to be excluded if a page is eventually written — please send those preferences to hello@kino.ie. We can't pre-commit to excluding receipted public-record material, but flagged preferences are read and considered, and where they're consistent with our editorial frame they generally are accommodated.

If you're an Irish public figure who'd like to be considered for inclusion

Some public figures actively want a long-form, evidenced public record of their work and conduct. If you fall into that category, send a message to hello@kino.ie with a brief case for inclusion. Note that:

• Inclusion is editorial judgment, not a paid service. We do not accept payment for inclusion or for any specific framing of an included subject.
• Once written, the page is treated like any other page on this site: receipts standard applies, takedown procedure applies, no special arrangements.
• The personality archive is not yet populated. Pages will appear over the months following launch as the editorial pipeline produces them.
